is a small family-owned business based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia whose mission is to bridge the gap between educational and non-educational toys with the desired quality, affordability and availability for all kids with inclusive for special needs as well. Based on our research in early learning, one of the challenges in most early learning centers is the availability of educational toys with desired quality and affordability. Therefore, we founded Kinder after constantly being in a quandary trying to find creative educational non-plastic toys for our kids, families & early learning centers in Ethiopia, which almost all the toys imported are made up of plastic materials and mostly non-educational.
We believe that even ordinary families should have access to toys that are timeless, minimize our contribution to the landfill, and inspire creativity, wonder, and growth. It is our mission to create and design toys that are packed with learning and playing potential and made out of natural wood materials as much as possible.
